We are a DIY record label, headquartered in Western Kentucky. Slough Water started with the mission to provide a home for music born in the American South. Now our roster expands past our Southern collective to other acts influenced by their region’s landscapes and traditions.

There is no overreaching genre here, no specific set of rules. Instead, Slough Water casts a wide net, creating a collective of musicians as diverse as the land that inspires them.
